Be careful what you tweet

Teachers may like to read with their students this striking newspaper article on two British turists who got arrested when visiting the USA due to some comments they had published on Twitter prior to their visit.

It would be interesting to read the text aloud and explain the vocabulary students may have difficulty with, since the news has not been adapted to foreign learners of English.

Teachers may also like to have a debate in class and ask students about social networks and the sort of things they publish on Twitter or Facebook.
