What's in a name?

Watch the video and tell your students to answer the following questions:

What is the naming tradition in Italy?
Why do parents in Eastern Europe name their children after relatives who have died?
What is the tradition in Asian countries? And in Ghana?
Why should all names be respected?

Teachers may also like to have a debate in class afterwards regarding the topic of naming. They could ask their students if they know why they were given their names.
